This company was born out of the experience of our founder, July Htaik, who immigrated to Canada from Burma around the age of sixteen. July struggled to transition to a new, bilingual, curriculum, and as an adult, wanted to help children that are in similar situations as she was. This is where Clever Club’s philosophy of culturally competent tutoring, that allows tutors to connect with students and build a strong foundation for their future studies.
